Kiwi Berry Trellis

About the size of your thumb, kiwi berries are smooth-skinned, sweet, and taste much like traditional fuzzy kiwis.
Kiwi berries are ready to be picked in mid October. They are soft and juicy when fully ripe.
These berries are very addictive fresh off the vine, and can be prepared in a multitude of ways in the kitchen like other fruits.
Kiwi berries offer stunning fall foliage in November as the leaves turn golden brown.
Sour Cherry Orchard
The Cherry Orchard at Country Meadows Hershey - Planted Fall 2023
These cherry trees were selected for their uniform growing style and natural resilience to disease and insects.
Check the trees in mid-to late April to see the plentiful white cherry blossoms.
The cherries turn from pink to red when ripe, usually around mid June.
Sour cherries are commonly used in desserts, but can be enjoyed fresh as well.
Peach and Apple Orchard

Don't miss the prolific peach blooms around the middle of April.
Starting in late June, the peaches ripen sequentially every couple of weeks until August.
The white donut peaches in late July are a must have.
Behind the peach trees, four apple trees ripen in mid-September.
Apple blossoms aren't as showy as peach blossoms, but you can spot them around two weeks after the peaches flower.
Blueberry Patch

Studies show that blueberries are beneficial for heart and brain health, as well as being absolutely delicious.
Start checking the blueberries in the second week of June. When each berry is blue from top to bottom, it’s ready to pick.
It's no secret that birds love to steal blueberries. Visit the patch in the morning to beat the feathery thieves.
Thornless Red Raspberries

Expect to see ripe red raspberries by late May. These plants will continue to produce berries until late fall.
A campus favorite, these plants are consistent, reliable and delicious.
Enjoy them fresh, or whip up a quick batch of raspberry jam on the stove.
